Essential Talent's motivational speaker, Hayley Holt, is raising a toast to her son's first birthday today. She has chosen social media as her stage to share adorable images of her little bloke enjoying his birthday cake.

“Raven, we love you heaps! Thanks a million for choosing us," shared Holt about her much-cherished boy whom she is bringing up with her partner, Josh Tito.

In the heartwarming Instagram update, Holt humourously unveiled that young Raven was not a huge fan of his first birthday cake. However, the wee disappointment was rapidly solved with the presentation of a new toy and swanky threads.

This celebration marks Holt and Tito's joyful observation of their kiddo's first-ever trip around the sun, a joyous event following the agonising loss of their tiny boy Frankie Tai. Little Frankie was devastatingly stillborn in April 2020 while Holt was in her second trimester.

Speaking with Woman's Day in 2021, Holt, the sought-after motivational speaker, admitted that despite the profound grief the couple had endured, they, with the backing of their loving family, found the strength to keep moving forward.

"It's a bit hard to describe, but it's like I was jolted into detaching my feelings from Frankie. It was about coming to terms with the fact that life can be tough, but it carries on regardless, and one must meet the challenges head-on. There's no alternative.

"I'm trying to surrender control and put faith in the universe," she further disclosed. "Purchasing our own home and establishing a shared life has been incredibly therapeutic. It's a fantastic sensation to feel this anchored."

She conveyed to Woman's Day that her son had facilitated her emotional healing.

"Motherhood has bestowed upon me a joy that's beyond words. It's pushed me to let go of the pessimism. If I'm carrying anxieties or if I'm feeling down, it's just not beneficial for him. He's given me the green light to be self-assured and confident. With Raven in our lives, I can eagerly look forward to what lies ahead. No need for worries anymore," Holt, the motivational speaker from Essential Talent, affirmed.
