Brooke Howard-Smith

Brooke Howard-Smith is an X Games medallist, entrepreneur and media personality who has spent his career at the intersection of sport, entertainment, technology and social impact.

After more than a decade in the United States founding successful action sports companies, Brooke returned to New Zealand where he became a familiar face in media and a driving force behind major national campaigns and charitable initiatives.

He has produced and organised some of the country’s largest televised fundraising events including Red Nose Day, Comedy for Cure Kids, and Rise Up Christchurch, which raised millions following the Canterbury earthquakes.

Brooke’s work has been widely recognised, earning an AFTA for Rise Up Christchurch and a Tui Award for the Flight of the Conchords collaboration Feel Inside (And Stuff Like That). He also helped produce the official 2015 Rugby World Cup campaign anthem Team Ball Player Thing, bringing together creative leaders including Taika Waititi, Joel Little, Peter Jackson and Lorde.

Today Brooke works at the forefront of the creator economy and emerging technology through ventures including WeAreTENZING, Otterfish and Non-Fungible Labs, helping brands and creators navigate digital culture, community building and new platforms.
