Who is Danielle Brown? Born in Steeton, West Yorkshire and diagnosed as a teenager with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) — a condition where every step is painful — Danielle took up archery on her 15th birthday and made the Great Britain team three years later as world number one. She won Paralympic gold in Beijing 2008 and London 2012, plus a Commonwealth Games gold in Delhi 2010. After her sport was reclassified in 2013, she pivoted to speaking, training and writing. She holds a first-class honours law degree from the University of Leicester.
