Who is Greg Murphy? Born in Hawke's Bay in 1972, Greg was karting by the age of eight and racing professionally as a teenager. He moved to Australia, contested the Australian Super Touring Championship, then won the 1996 Bathurst 1000 with Craig Lowndes in his first major endurance assault. He went on to win Bathurst again in 1999 (with Steven Richards) and twice more in 2003 and 2004 (with Rick Kelly). He won 27 V8 Supercar races, took back-to-back NZ V8 SuperTourer titles in 2013 and 2014, and retired from full-time racing in 2015.
