Kevin Biggar is one of New Zealand's most experienced motivational speakers and the country's "Big Challenge Guy". Winner of the Trans-Atlantic Rowing Race, the first Kiwi to trek unsupported to the South Pole and co-host of TVNZ's First Crossings and Intrepid NZ, Kevin has spoken to nearly 1,000 organisations across New Zealand, Australia and the UK.


Who is Kevin Biggar? Kevin trained as an economist with science degrees from Auckland and Cambridge before working at NZ Treasury, The Boston Consulting Group, Telecom NZ and as CEO of a software start-up. In 2003 he won the 5,000km Trans-Atlantic Rowing Race with Jamie Fitzgerald, setting a world record. The pair then became the first New Zealanders to trek unsupported from the Antarctic coast to the South Pole. Kevin is the author of three books, including the award-winning The Oarsome Adventures of a Fat Boy Rower.
