Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy has enjoyed a successful career in the music and entertainment industry. After finishing runner up in the inaugural season of NZ Idol, Michael signed to BMG Records in 2004, where his first single debuted at number 1. He later formed rock band 5Star Fallout and spent several years touring in New Zealand, America and England. Michael has also had success in musical theatre, playing lead roles in productions such as "Rent" and "Grease". He is currently the lead singer for Written By Wolves, a popular rock band with a significant online following. Now, Michael is a sought-after corporate entertainer and MC, known for his energy and wit.
