Rob Campbell CNZM is one of New Zealand's best-known professional directors and one of its most outspoken governance commentators. Who is Rob Campbell? Born in Featherston in 1951, Rob trained as an economist at Victoria University of Wellington before careers in trade unionism, investment and governance. He has chaired Guinness Peat Group, SkyCity Entertainment, Summerset, Tourism Holdings, WEL Networks, NZ Rural Land Company and Ara Ake, and chaired Te Whatu Ora and the Environmental Protection Authority before stepping down from both in 2023. He has served as Chancellor of Auckland University of Technology since 2019.
