Shaun Summerfield has forged a highly successful career spanning three decades, encompassing TV, radio, and print.
Best known as the host of CRC Motorsport on TV3 since 2009, Shaun also anchored News and Sports bulletins, Rugby World Cup, Melbourne Cup, and NZ Golf Open and fronted the Qantas Award-winning coverage of the 2010 V8 Supercars in Hamilton.
During his time as a journalist, he toured with the All Blacks, reported on the Commonwealth Games and Rugby World Cups and covered our country's greatest motorsport success.
Shaun’s passion for cars and Motorsport is renowned, from his trademark ‘piece-to-cameras’ filmed just feet away from speeding rally cars to taking Kiwi fans onto the grid at Le Mans for the first time and his work as a car reviewer on Giltrap TV.
Since his first big gig….as one of the Three Little Pigs in the 1992 Christchurch Santa Parade, Shaun has gone on to MC several All Black Tests, Car of the Year Awards, and even Opera.
His style is relaxed, and his expertise as a live interviewer has seen him present entertaining and insightful chats with Prime Ministers, sporting legends and business leaders.
