The co-founder of global media sales and training business NRS Media, he spent more than 20 years building it into a global powerhouse before selling in 2015. Who is Mike Brunel? Mike grew up on a small NZ farm before moving to Sydney at 18 to play rugby and sell stationery to newsagents, then on to London. Back in NZ he was hired as a radio advertising executive, working on what became the More FM Network (now part of MediaWorks). He co-founded NRS Media in Wellington and grew it to offices in London, Atlanta, Toronto, Sydney, Cape Town and Bogota, generating around $350 million in annual client sales across 23 countries. He sold the business in 2015.
